CELL PROTECTION & ENERGY
Spirulina contributes to the reduction of tiredness and naturally contains high amounts of vegan protein (54%), vitamin K, vitamin B12 and important antioxidants like vitamin A (ß-carotene).
Additionally, Spirulina contains minerals like iron and magnesium which contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism and to normal function of the immune system.
Vitamin B12 is especially important for vegans and vegetarians as just small amounts of this nutrient can be provided through a plant-based diet. Vitamin K contributes to the maintenance of normal bones.
Spirulina contains all essential amino acids and therefore is an important protein source. Noteworthy is the high content of natural antioxidants like vitamin A (ß-carotene) and phycocyanin both play an important role in cell protection.
Phycocyanin gains more and more popularity through the antioxidant potential and the use as colouring foodstuff. The natural dye supports the immune system, inhibits the growth of cancer cells, can minimise viral infects and can inhibit the growth of different kinds of cancer (in vitro)1.

DETOX & ENERGY
The green freshwater algae Chlorella naturally contains high amounts of vegan protein (46%), supports the detoxification of the human body and is rich in vitamin B12, iron and folic acid.
Vitamin B12 is especially important for vegans and vegetarians as just small amounts of this nutrient can be provided through a plant-based diet.
The valuable components vitamin B12 and iron contribute to a normal energy-yielding metabolism. Noteworthy is the high content of antioxidants like vitamin E which contributes to the protection of cells from oxidative stress.
Folate contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue as well as to a normal function of the immune system.
Chlorella contains high amounts of chlorophyll, a natural occurring green food dye, which possesses besides the colouring function a great antioxidant potential.
Chlorella contains significant amounts of dietary fibres which do have a very positive effect on the human digestion.
